This year was probably the worst I ever had academically. It took me 6 months to actually accept my fate with what happened and even until now there are remnants of it whenever I look at the photos I’ve had with my 2013 family.

I also screwed up big time with my Med Bestfriend and even that we both got through with it and was able to spend time still and talk to each other. Though there were no formal acceptance of apologies.. there was a grieving period and after that he invited me to his bday party and was also able to celebrate with him together with the Gang for my bday celebration.

It also took my mum two whole months to completely accept what happened to me… The whole summer break I’ve spent it with Family and Friends. Come June, It was like taking off a bandage off a fresh wound since I can see my friends in V- Necks already and I got stuck. =(

Somehow, I am thankful for having Buddy (Jo), Kris, Hazel, etc. Also, I could not have done it in school also without my MMI family. Who despite my absence In the office and my lack of attendance at times in the office, have taken me in and has helped with my predicament. Ive taken a lot of advice, encouragement, support and love from them… And although I will continue missing my 2013 family… Im happy that I’m still in medicine doing what I love best doing. I may have lost 1 year from trying to recover what had happened but what came back in return is something more.

As for lovelife, well, not lucky, but I am happy :) I have a lot of crushes… though these crushes are just that. If they feel the same way then happy days are here but we wont ever know what will happen now will we :) But besides from that I have gained my 2014 family, my MMI family and my family back at home.

This has been a wonderful year with so much to be thankful for.
